About Me

About Me

I was born in Hamburg in 1970 and was already passionate about drawing and painting as a child. In my youth I attended the painting school of the artist Brigitte Nolden. After graduating from high school and a stay abroad in Paris, I studied at the Hamburg University of Applied Sciences and graduated with a degree in communication design. My love of France and art took me to Bordeaux in 1993 for a year at the Ecole des beaux Arts, where I successfully completed a diploma.

For several years, I worked at the design agency Ropelius, specialising in packaging design. However, alongside my work as a designer, I increasingly devoted myself to spiritual education and founded my own practice where I pass on my knowledge.

In 2019, I started painting again, just for fun, in an intuitive way that produces creative and expressive works that were not possible with a realistic, cerebral approach as I had done in my studies before.

Soon there was one exhibition after another and I realised what a wonderful tool for awareness intuitive painting is.

This is how balance*art was born and now I enable people to explore and express their creativity and intuition in intuitive painting seminars. And at the same time to enrich the world with their paintings.

I am lucky to have a large studio that used to be a swimming pool. It's wonderfully bright and chaotic there, my 2 cats help out and we have chickens and cherries in the garden.

In 2022 I have set up my own gallery there, you can find out more here: www.kurbad76.de

When I'm not painting, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, playing tennis or swimming, meditating or sometimes just doing nothing at all.

About My Art

My art becomes more vibrant the more I allow all my emotions, raw energy and mental clarity to be released onto the canvas.

My paintings almost always reflect feelings, because feelings are also frequencies/energies that, consciously or unconsciously, influence our lives. It's almost as if we were human Bluetooth speakers, constantly emitting new melodies - sometimes softly, sometimes loudly and sometimes even with an unintentional hum! Painting is a wonderful medium for visualising these frequencies and thus transforming them.

About the Fôret magique series:

Forests are vital to our world, both materially and spiritually. You could say they are the giant green fridges of the planet - they not only keep CO2 from shrinking, but also our souls! My magical forests give the viewer colours and energies as they walk in them. The contrast of order and chaos, light and dark as well as colour and black and white catch the eye and let you dive deeper and deeper into the magical forests of colour. And let's be honest, who can resist a forest that looks as if a rainbow has secretly tipped over a pot of paint?

About War of Feelings:

The only thing that can end the war, both external and internal, is to make peace with all the feelings within ourselves. Yes, even with the grumbling anger that keeps popping up as we ponder whether or not we really deserve that last slice of pizza! Let's invite the feelings to a round table rather than a boxing ring, because every thought is alive and wants to be treated with respect and you'll see, they'll happily make peace.

About the magical animals:

In the abstract process of creation, the creatures emerge all by themselves. It's almost like a miracle - I'm painting and suddenly a dreamy cat with a hat and sunglasses looks out at me. Somehow I have the feeling that even the best visit to the zoo can't keep up with the amazement of my own creative creations! As if the paintbrush were leading a mysterious life of its own and at the same time going on a wild safari through the world of fantasy!

So, in this wild life of colours, emotions and strange creatures - I keep coming back to my mantra: If you can't find the magic, just paint it!

About the blue parrot

In the middle of a colourful jungle sits our blue parrot with an expression that says so much more than words: ‘Huh? What's going on here?’ With his deep blue feathers shining like the sky itself and his big, curious eyes, he seems to be unravelling the mysteries of the jungle.

With a touch of humour and a pinch of charm, he invites the viewer to embrace his questioning point of view. What is the secret of life? Or the question that concerns us all: ‘Why are people so busy when they should just fly and sing?’ Maybe we'll find out together at the next fruit festival in the jungle! The blue parrot is ready - are you?

About balanc* art

What is balanc*art by Claudia Letulé?

Welcome to my fascinating world of balanc*art! For me, this is not just about beautiful pictures on walls, but about the artistic magic that I create with my works. These works of art are like silent life coaches - they don't speak out loud, but their colours and their essence tell stories that can express more than words.

My art is not created in a quiet chamber of the mind, but is the result of an intuitive creative explosion. It is as if the energies and truths that occupy me flow into the pictures. When I stand in front of one of my piece ot work, I can literally feel the positive vibes flowing through the room - almost as if the painting is smiling at us all and saying: ‘Hey, leave the bad moods behind you!’

Sometimes I also bring the unloved feelings like anger or fear into play. But don't worry, this energy can also be transformed! Who would have thought that a work of art is capable of channelling our emotions in a positive direction?

Take a moment to find the perfect picture for your home. I invite you to reach a new level with lightness and humour - for yourself and your surroundings. Whether original or print, each of my works brings joy, confidence and a pinch of happiness to your everyday life. Who knows, maybe it will also bring a dose of lightness and humour into your home!
